Clarksdale Man Shot and Killed in Robinsonville

On Monday, September 2, the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting incident at approximately 7:52 p.m. at 2669 Kirby Road in Robinsonville, Mississippi.

Deputies and first responders were dispatched after a 911 call came in about an individual being shot.

Upon arrival, sheriff deputies found a male victim with gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel from Pafford Emergency Services quickly arrived on the scene, but despite their efforts, the victim succumbed to his injuries. The Tunica County Coroner, Glen Grant, later pronounced the man deceased at the scene.

The victim has been identified as 38-year-old Marqueze McCray from Clarksdale, MS.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are currently under investigation, and authorities have not released any further details regarding potential suspects or motives.

The Tunica County Sheriff’s Office is asking for anybody with information on this incident to come forward.
