On Tuesday, June 11th, the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, assisted by Capitol Police, executed a search warrant at a home, resulting in the arrest of 38-year-old Tarus Whitfield, a multi-drug distributor.
During the search, agents seized multiple drugs in varying quantities, including methamphetamine, marijuana, crack and powder cocaine, oxycodone, morphine, Xanax, and over two dozen unidentified pills. Additionally, numerous firearms were discovered in the residence: two shotguns, two rifles (one with a switch), and one Glock pistol with a switch.
Whitfield faces several charges:
