Byram Police Looking For Woman Wanted In Walmart Shoplifting Incident

The Byram Police Department is looking for a woman wanted in a shoplifting incident.

According to Chief Errington, on July 1, officers were notified by Walmart Asset Protection Team of a vehicle leaving Walmart that had just shoplifted several items from the store

Officers found the vehicle at a local fireworks stand, where they made contact with a female identified as Shaneqia Shuntel Harvey.

Inside Harvey’s vehicle, officers recovered over $1900 worth of stolen merchandise from Walmart.

Harvey was charged with two counts of shoplifting and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Through further investigation, detectives developed a second suspect, Deneshia Harvey (AKA) “Lit Bit”, who was also an accomplice to the shoplifting, and had fled once officers made contact with Sheneqia Harvey.

Chief Errington said the duo are also responsible for several other shoplifting cases throughout the area and have a prior outstanding felony warrant with the Byram Police Department for Felony Shoplifting.
