On September 10, MS State Troopers were conducting a safety checkpoint on Highway 4 West when a vehicle attempted to turn around but then continued on to the checkpoint.
The driver, 24-year-old Kendall Guy of Booneville, was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance with intent and enhanced with a firearm.
Justice Court Judge Craig Bishop set his bond at $25,000 and North MS Narcotics Agent Grady Smith is handling the case and will present the case to the next available Grand Jury.
