One of the suspects in the April fatal shooting of Bryson Horne, 20, had his bond cut in half on Tuesday in Rankin County.
Accused in Horne’s shooting death, 20-year-old Ryan Duette initially faced a $500,000 bond, which was reduced to $250,000.
According to WJTV, Duette was also ordered to have no contact with the victim’s family and was given a GPS monitor.
Duette has stated that he shot Horne while selling him a gun. Laney Ingle, also 20, who is charged with accessory after the fact.
Horne’s mother found him shot in the side less than a month after his 14-year-old brother Cameron Horne Cook was fatally shot in Jackson.
