According to WLOX, a body washed up on the shoreline of Cat Island.

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department said that Sheriff Matt Haley said a fisherman spotted the body Thursday.

WLOX reports that the Harrison County Marine Patrol and the Harrison County Coroner responded to the scene.

Deputy Coroner Ben Bentz identified the victim as 47-year-old Willie Hall of Georgia.

The coroner said it doesn’t appear that Hall used a boat to get to the island. He was wearing long gray pants, boots, a white shirt, and a jean jacket.

No foul play is expected.
