A body was found Wednesday morning in Jackson on Pine Tree Drive near Pine Lawn Place.
Detectives learned that the victim had trauma to his upper body. Unfortunately, he was pronounced deceased on scene.
The victim was identified as Marvin Houck, Jr.

Police are investigating this as a homicide and have one person of interest.
