Blue Springs Woman Arrested for Possession of Cocaine

According to the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department, during a daytime narcotics operation in the northeast section of the county, officers seized crack cocaine and arrested 31-year-old Amanda Sue Hill of Blue Springs.

Deputies were dispatched to Tuscumbia Road after a report of a female slumped over and unresponsive in her vehicle. Upon arrival, Hill was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and several misdemeanor offenses.

Following an interrogation and investigation by the Major Case Unit of the Criminal Investigation Division, Hill was formally charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.

A Pontotoc County Justice Court Judge set her bond at $7,500. Hill was booked into the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department Adult Detention Center.
