“Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long.” – Psalms 25:5

Have you ever had decisions that were just too big to make by yourself, and you just need someone to tell you what to do and why? That’s been my every day lately. It’s funny that this verse with the devotional that was with it came up today because God’s guidance has been a huge theme in my life lately, as recently as a conversation I had last night.

But God said in Isaiah 30:21, “And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.”

How do we know how to listen to that voice though? Well that’s been a powerful prayer that I’ve been putting up daily lately: “God, help me know how you talk to me.” And He’s been showing me answer after answer. Things only He could have sent or known.

The more time you spend with someone, the more you trust them, and the more you know whether they’re protecting your heart. God is no different. If you find yourself with failing faith, spend more time with Him and remember who He is.

Reacquaint yourself with His voice.

Sometimes He’ll send you an answer that hurts, but I’m finding that knowing His voice better than my own helps me to trust Him, and there’s that peace that passes understanding.

Decisions are hard. God is big. ❤️

“…Then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve… But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” – Joshua 24:15
