According to WTOK, an arrest has been made after the body of 54-year-old Eddie Floyd Bell was found on the side of King Road in Lauderdale County.
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s said that 19-year-old Lane M. Brooks was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving death.
WTOK reports that Floyd’s body was found early Tuesday morning. Someone passing by reported seeing the body around 6:15 a.m.
Bell lived on King Road and was hit by the vehicle on May 9th, but the sighting of his body was not reported until several days later.
