Tupelo Police Arrest Man For Allegedly Stealing iPhone From Gas Station

A suspect has been arrested in connection with the theft of an iPhone 15 Pro from a local Texaco station.

On September 2, officers responded to a call at 2810 South Gloster Street regarding a stolen iPhone. The property owner told police that her phone was taken while she was inside the store. Thanks to video footage from the store, authorities were able to identify an individual stealing the phone and leaving in a vehicle.

After a thorough investigation, 22-year-old Jamarius C. Davis, of Tupelo, was arrested on September 19 and charged with Grand Larceny.

The following day, September 20, 2024, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Priest set Davis’s bond at $3,000. The case is expected to be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury for further proceedings.

This arrest highlights the importance of quick reporting and cooperation between law enforcement and local businesses in resolving such cases.
