The VA Medical Center in Jackson shared an incredible picture on their Facebook.

The family of Captain Robert Gess came in and donated two vintage 1945 West Point uniforms to the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center.

These uniforms hold a visible and powerful portion of history and will be displayed in the front atrium’s uniform case, allowing staff, visitors, and Veterans to view these historic pieces during their visits to the center.

The Center for Development & Civic Engagement at the VA expressed deep gratitude to Dana Gwin and the Gess family for this contribution which honors those who have served.
