A Diamondhead man was arrested after Harrison County Sheriff Matt Haley told WLOX he led deputies on a chase across state lines Wednesday.
41-year-old Christopher Colt Brown was arrested and charged with felony fleeing, assault on a law enforcement officer, and federal drug and firearms violations.
According to WLOX, on Wednesday around 4:05 p.m., Harrison County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Patrol Units conducted a traffic stop on an Infinity SUV on Canal Road near I-10 in Gulfport.
Items indicating drug use were found in Brown’s SUV. brown forcibly got back into the SUV and drove away, leading deputies on a chase west on I-10 for several miles into Louisiana.
