Thursday weather: burn bans, freeze warning, sunny skies

Mary Apel

Sunny skies will help temperatures rebound quickly from the very chilly readings early this morning. Look for highs to reach the mid 60s for much of the area.

Clear skies and light wind will allow temperatures to fall quickly into the 30s. Some locations will fall to near or slightly below freezing, and areas of frost are likely to develop.

Continued dry weather and critically low humidity will maintain an elevated fire danger threat. Open burning is discouraged as fires are more likely to escape control. Make sure to heed local burn bans.
