Pearl Youth Football Coach Antonio Washington and Pearl Parks and Recreation passed along a generous donation of bicycles and toys to the Pearl Tree of Angels campaign on Thursday morning.
The Tree of Angels is put together by counselors at all the Pearl Public Schools.
It is set up to help students and their families in need at Christmas who may not be able to get gifts otherwise.
Counselors and administrators had a chance to select bikes and toys for their students that will be in addition to the gifts purchased by generous folks that adopted an Angel on the trees that were at the Pearl Chamber of Commerce.
“This was truly an unexpected blessing that Coach Washington and Parks and Rec received and it was heartwarming to know it will bring joy to so many families here in Pearl.”
