The Starkville Police Department is investigating a fatal one-vehicle collision that occurred on April 30, at around 2:54 a.m.

A sedan occupied by two males left the roadway at the intersection of Highway 25 and Highway 82.

An 81-year-old occupant was declared deceased on scene, and a second occupant was transported for further treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
