16-year-old faces million dollar bond in Lauderdale County homicide investigation

A 16-year-old wanted for murder in Lauderdale county has been taken into custody today.

Authorities said around 4:30 PM, Jacob Hyde was taken into custody after search that involved K9s, helicopters, and foot searchers in the area of Gilbert Joyner Road.

Authorities say Hyde fatally shot Brad Lackey, 30, just before 1 a.m. Monday.

Hyde now faces one count of murder and a $1 million bond.
