2 Stolen Vehicles, 270 Grams Cocaine, Marijuana And Cash Seized In Adams Co. Investigation

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Group and the Vidalia Police Department conducted a joint investigation that has led to the seizure of two stolen vehicles, over 270 grams of cocaine, over a pound and half of marijuana, and $5,348.00 in currency.

The investigation started when the Vidalia Police Department arrested Sanchez Gray for Possession of a Stolen vehicle when he was stopped at a traffic stop in Vidalia on January 17, 2024.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Group then executed a search warrant at Sanchez’s home at 526 Park Place in Natchez.

Agents seized a small amount of Marijuana and $5,348.00 in currency. They continued to investigate and executed a search warrant on a 2017 Corvette Z06 that was parked in a field on Old Meadville Rd.

Agents were able to confirm the Corvette was stolen from Grapevine, TX, and recovered approximately 270 grams of cocaine, over a pound of Marijuana, and miscellaneous paperwork from inside the vehicle.

On January 26, agents arrested Jersha Brown and Sanchez Gray for Aggravated Trafficking of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine), Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, and Tampering with Evidence.

 

A third suspect is being sought by authorities, Dionntae Dishta of Ferriday, LA.

Sheriff Patten stated that Dionntae Dishta has been entered into NCIC and is currently on Parole in Louisiana.

Sheriff Patten went on to say that these arrests were possible because of the relationship that we have with surrounding agencies and the support from local businesses which enabled us to recover this vehicle without any damage to it.
