On Tuesday, June 4, at approximately 4:30 p.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Highway 614 in Jackson County.

A 2011 Dodge Ram Pickup driven by 18-year-old Gabriel Hester of Vancleave, MS, and passenger, 19-year-old Blayne Christopher Blair, traveled west on Highway 614 when it collided with a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 80-year-old James Tarrell Davis, of Moss Point, MS, traveling east on Highway 614.

Blayne Christopher Blair and James Tarrell Davis both received fatal injuries from the crash and were pronounced dead at the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
