The Tupelo Police Department arrested a woman for Embezzlement Under Contract.
According to police, on August 24, the police department served a Lee County Circuit Court Capias Warrant on 26-year-old Shuneterious Wright (from Tupelo) for Embezzlement Under Contract, Rental.
This warrant is pertaining to a 2021 report in reference to rental property not being returned to the owner.
Wright was held on a $5,000 bond by Lee County Circuit Court at the time the capias was issued. This case is awaiting trial in Lee County Circuit Court.
