As areas affected by the storm are trying to put themselves back together, fire departments from around the state have gone to help with the recovery. In Rankin County, Langford Volunteer Fire Department and Robinhood Volunteer Fire Department deployed along with Rankin EOC to serve the communities by running emergency calls where the apparatus had been destroyed or where a department was grossly understaffed for the size of the emergency.
