Warm and Rainy Wednesday

Mary Apel

Isolated to scattered showers and storms are possible this afternoon and evening. Gusty winds, frequent lightning, and localized heavy rainfall will be the primary threats. Temperatures rise into the 90s.

Heat index values of 105 to 110 degrees are possible mostly along and west of the I-55 corridor.

Particularly for areas where significant power outages remain from Hurricane Ida, caution is advised when spending extended periods of time outdoors.
