An elderly Tylertown resident has died in a car crash on Highway 98.
On Tuesday around 1:47 PM, the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash in Walthall County.
A 2011 Chevrolet Impala driven by 70-year-old Gene Quinn of Tylertown, was headed north on Magees Creek School Road when it collided with a 2014 Dodge Journey driven by 29-year-old Markeisha Hosey, also of Tylertown, traveling west on Highway 98.
Quinn received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene.
This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
