The Tunica County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in the homicide investigation of Lester Davis.
Lester Davis succumbed to his injuries on June 24, after being shot multiple times at 1022 Fairway Street.
Witnesses on the scene were able to identify the shooter as Javion Clark.
On July 1, 25-year-old Javion Clark, of Memphis, was arrested and charged with 1st Degree Murder in the death of Lester Davis.
At his initial appearance hearing, the bond was denied and Javion Clark remains in custody at the Tunica County Detention Center.
A second suspect has been arrested in the homicide investigation. 23-year-old Carlos Hillard, Jr. of Tunica, was arrested on July 15, and charged with Accessory Before The Fact and Felon Carrying Concealed Weapon.
Bond was denied for Carlos Hillard, Jr. and he also remains in custody at the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office.
