According to the Natchez Democrat, two men were killed on Myrtle Drive after being shot “ambush-style.”
The shooting happened Thursday afternoon around 5:45 p.m.
Coroner James Lee identified the two victims to the Natchez Democrat as 26-year-old Brandon Brooks and 24-year-old Taron Woods.
Adams County Sheriff’s Office and Natchez Police both responded to the scene. Sheriff Travis Patten told the Natchez Democrat it was an “ambush-style murder in broad daylight”.
There have been no arrests made yet in this double murder.
