Two Arrested, One Wanted In Connection To Tupelo Waffle House Shooting

On March 17, at approximately 02:00 am Tupelo Police Officers were notified of a shooting at 722 South Gloster (Waffle House).
An adult male victim had been transported by private auto to the NMMC for an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
After further investigation, 28-year-old Stanquan Haynes (from Aberdeen) was taken into custody by the Tupelo Police Department and charged with Aggravated Assault and Shooting Into An Occupied Dwelling. Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen ordered Haynes to be held without bond.
Also, 34-year-old Stanshea Buckingham (from Tupelo) was taken into custody by the Tupelo Police Department and charged with Accessory After the Fact To Aggravated Assault. Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen ordered Buckingham to be held without bond.
Haynes and Buckingham’s charges will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
Courtney Mikale Jamison is still currently wanted by the Tupelo Police Department for Aggravated Assault, Shooting Into An Occupied Dwelling, Felon In Possession Of A Firearm, and Felony Malicious Mischief. Jamison is a 34 y/o male, black, 6’3”, 210 lbs. Jamison last listed Tupelo as his home address.
