On August 7, the Tupelo Police Department received a report of home repair fraud off Pigott Drive in Tupelo.
The victim reported hiring an individual to do interior design work in their home.
The suspect did not complete all of the agreed upon work after receiving payment.
After further investigation, 51-year-old Stephanie P. Williford (from Booneville) was arrested for two counts of Grand Larceny and two counts of False Pretense.
On 09-07-23, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen ordered Williford to be held on a $20,000 bond. This case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
