On March 23, Tupelo Police Department Officers took a report of a stolen vehicle on Milford Street.

The vehicle was later located in Alcorn County and the suspect driving the vehicle was arrested on unrelated charges.

After further investigation, 28-year-old Robert C. Hulett (of Tupelo) was taken into custody by the Tupelo Police Department and charged with Grand Larceny; Taking Possession of a Motor Vehicle.

Hulett was out on felony bond at the time of the motor vehicle theft and has previously been arrested by the Tupelo Police Department in relation to motor vehicle thefts.

Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir ordered Hulett to be held without bond. These charges will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
