On April 13, the Tupelo Police Department served a Lee County Circuit Court Capias Warrant on 30-year-old Austin Romie Hinton (of Tupelo) for Arson Against Insured Property.
This warrant is pertaining to a structure fire that occurred on August 22, 2022 on South Feemster Lake Road.
State and Local Fire Marshals assisted in this investigation.
Hinton was held on a $50,000 bond that was issued by Lee County Circuit Court at the time the capias was issued. This case is awaiting trial in Lee County Circuit Court.
