Today we will see heat indices rise to over 105 in most areas, as the heat and humidity combine. Some rain showers and even storms are likely, with chances increasing to the east.
From the National Weather Service: Hot and humid conditions will continue to result in dangerous heat stress this week into the weekend. Heat indices will likely exceed 110 degrees in portions of the NW Delta. Heat exhaustion will be likely with prolonged outdoor activity. Stay hydrated and take frequent breaks if working outdoors.
