Three men are charged with drug violations after search warrants were served in three different Moss Point locations Friday.
Darrian Cooks, Joseph Tolliver, and Antwan Broughton, all of Moss Point, are charged with different drug violations. Those include possession, trafficking, and transfer of a controlled substance, conspiracy, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Jackson County Sheriff John Ledbetter says the arrests were made by agents of the Jackson County Emergency Services Unit, South Mississippi Metro Enforcement Team, and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force. The drugs recovered include cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, and oxycodone pills. Agents also found seven firearms and more than $7,000 in cash.
Ledbetter says the men won’t be able to make bond because each is on probation for other charges from Mississippi Department of Corrections.
More arrests are expected in the ongoing investigation.
