The Jackson Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on Thursday in the 5300 block of I-55 North Frontage Road.
The victim, identified as Fredrick Smith, was shot and pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying the individuals driving a white Honda Accord, seen in the area at the time of the incident. The vehicle, which has a black and red paper tag with the letters “WAS,” was occupied by at least three individuals.
