On February 19, Corinth Police Officers responded to the 1600 block of Gaines Road in regards to gunshots.
When officers arrived, they found several shell casings, a firearm, and blood.
Within minutes, Corinth police were notified of a gunshot victim at Magnolia Regional Health Center’s ER.
Approximately an hour later, Lee Williams turned himself in.
Williams was charged with Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
This case will be presented to an Alcorn County Grand Jury. The victim has been released from the hospital.
