An arrest has been made in connection with Wednesday’s fatal shooting on Highway 80.
Nick Thomas III, 43, was shot while driving a blue Dodge Charger along the highway, according to authorities. His vehicle crashed and ran off the road before coming to a stop on Hwy 80.
A silver Honda Accord found wrecked and abandoned nearby was believed to be driven by the shooter.
Witnesses saw a man exit the Honda and leave the scene in a Pontiac with two women.
WAPT reports that Jackson police arrested 21-year-old Marquavious Harrison on Thursday, according to jail records. Harrison is charged with murder, drive-by shooting and shooting into a vehicle.
