STEPPING UP TO SERVE: PGA Tour Golfers And Wives Bring Smiles To Faces At Children’s Hospital

The Mississippi Children’s Hospital posted on Facebook saying how grateful they are for the Sanderson Farms Championship.

“As the cheers subside and the greens settle, we extend our deepest gratitude for weaving the magic of compassion and generosity into the fabric of the Sanderson Farms Championship each year. ❤️

Children’s of Mississippi said they are honored that they get to be a part of such a wonderful event that makes such a huge difference in the lives of children and families.

PGA Tour Golfers and the PGA Tour Wives Association take time to come into the hospital and visit the children being treated there. They bring smiles to their faces and fun activities for the kids to do.

The kids can participate in crafts and projects that help take their minds off being at the hospital and whatever illness they are facing.

The PGA Tour Wives Association raised and donated $7,500 for the hospital. They

Children’s of Mississippi patient Wade Ricks was all smiles while he and mom Laura Ricks thanked tournament spectators for their support of the state’s only children’s hospital.
