On June 21 and 22nd, Starkville police arrested a third person, Ma’Dayvun Lofton, in a shooting that happened June 15th.
The shooting happened early in the morning at the intersection of Highway 12 and Louisville Street.
Police are still investigating the incident and additional arrests are anticipated.
The following individuals have been taken into custody:
Camron Roby, a 21-year-old resident of Shuqualak, MS – Arrested for aggravated assault on June 15, 2023.
Ma’Dayviun Lofton, a 21-year-old resident of Maben, MS – Arrested for aggravated assault on June 21, 2023.
Male Juvenile, age 17, Arrested on June 22, 2023.
The Starkville Police Department continues to work diligently to gather evidence and conduct a thorough investigation into this matter, more arrests are expected.
