The Ridgeland Police Department is looking for a suspect who lead officers on a chase.
According to Chief Brian Meyers, Ridgeland police encountered the stolen vehicle out of Jackson on North Allerton in Ridgeland.
The vehicle fled at a dangerous speed and the pursuit was terminated to protect other motorists driving in the area.
The vehicle was later spotted north of Ridgeland’s jurisdiction by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
It drove back into Ridgeland on the Natchez Trace Parkway where Ridgeland police used stop sticks to disable the vehicle.
The vehicle still continued on into Jackson near Beasley.
Madison County Sheriff’s Office took up the chase as Ridgeland terminated it when the chase left their jurisdiction again.
