Retired Pascagoula Lieutenant Loses Everything In Tornado

The Pascagoula Police Department posted on Facebook calling the community to help retired Lieutenant Vernon Smith, his wife Beth, (a retired PHS teacher), and their daughter.
During the storms a couple of weeks ago, their home was completely destroyed during the tornado.
The family lost everything in the storm.
The Pascagoula Police Department set up a GoFundMe account to help the family buy essentials
The money will also go to repair and rebuild their home.
According to the GoFundMe, all contributions will go towards the following:
1. Housing and Basic Needs: Funds will be allocated to secure permanent housing for Beth’s family, ensuring they have a stable and secure place to call home.
2. Rebuilding and Restoration: Donations will be used to reconstruct their home or find a new one helping them create a space filled with warmth and safety once more. Every dollar counts towards rebuilding their dreams.
3. Essential Supplies: Your support will provide the necessary essentials such as clothing, furniture, appliances, and other basic household items they need to start afresh.
4. Emotional Support: Recovering from such a traumatic experience takes time and care. Your contributions will assist Beth, Vernon, and Mallory in accessing counseling services and emotional support to help them heal and move forward.
