A small black dog was found leaning against the door of a third-floor apartment in Tunica.
The shelter said the pup had been there for three weeks. It appeared that he was waiting on his owner to come back, and had likely been abandoned.
A concerned neighbor called the shelter and the Tunica Humane Society came out to help.
The sweet female pup was lovingly named Olive. She is frail and close to starvation from sitting and leaning on that apartment door.
Sweet Olive now has a new lease on life.
If you want to follow along with her journey, follow the Tunica Humane Society’s page.
Olive is now in an incredible foster home. She is coming out of her shell and is much less timid. This sweet girl will be up for adoption soon!
They do so much for the furry, four-legged members of society.
