The Prentiss County Grand Jury has indicted two Booneville women, 24-year-old Alexis Nicole Thompson, and 43-year-old Penny Michelle Moore-Palmer, on three counts each of Child Endangerment.
The charges stem from incidents where children under their care tested positive for controlled substances.
Following the indictments, capias warrants were issued, and both women were arrested by the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department. Each woman’s bond was set at $50,000.
The case is being led by Investigator Torie Jumper, with assistance from Investigators Jason Chism and Aaron Stolz. The investigation remains ongoing.
