On Wednesday, January 25th, Prentiss County Deputies assisted by Mississippi Highway Patrol raided a home on CR 5065 in search of 31-year-old Jeffery Kyle Jackson, of Booneville.
Jackson had multiple outstanding felony indictments for Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, enhanced while in possession of a Firearm that stemmed from a trespassing call that Deputy Brandon Slack responded to back in 2022.
The other was a Booneville City Indictment for Burglary of an Automobile enhanced.
Deputies utilized both our Drone and Canine unit during the apprehension.
Deputies had been searching for Jackson for months and eventually received information he was hiding out at the house on CR5065.
Jackson was also charged with Misdemeanor Resisting Arrest and Failure to Comply with the lawful Command of an Officer.
He is being held with No Bond on one of the indictments, $50,000 on the other and $1,000 bond on the Misdemeanors.
The Narcotics case was handled by Prentiss County Officers that are assigned to the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit.
