Police are looking into a Sunday homicide in which a pregnant woman was fatally shot.
Police told WJTV that the shooting occurred around 1 a.m. Sunday on Industrial Park Drive. Police arriving on the scene found the woman inside a black Nissan Altima with several gunshot wounds.
When the victim was taken to the hospital, doctors found her to be pregnant, but the baby died in spite of an emergency C-section operation.
