According to the Picayune Police Department, on July 3, at about 3:00 p.m., officers with Patrol, CID and Narcotics located a stolen vehicle on Fannie Avenue near North Buren Avenue.
Donovan Quinn was identified as the person responsible for the Larceny. Quinn also had an outstanding warrant for taking the vehicle.
Quinn was seen near the vehicle at the time of the recovery and was taken into custody without incident.
During this incident, Quinn was found to be in possession of a distribution amount of crack cocaine.
Quinn was ultimately charged with felony taking of a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.
