A Pennsylvania woman is asking for Mississippi’s help in finding her lost dog.

The woman’s name was not on the post by Mississippi Lost and Found Pets, but there’s a picture of her with her two dogs, one of which is a black and white pit bull-type dog named Heli.

“She was with my boyfriend,” she writes. “He is mentally very unwell.”

The woman said her boyfriend won’t tell her where or how he lost Heli or his vehicle, but she states that he said something about “being locked up in Mississippi.”

“I am desperate to find her and bring her home,” the woman writes.

Heli is 2 years old and she is not chipped. The owner says she is very friendly and gentle.

The boyfriend was driving a white 1995 ford econoline van with black bumpers and North Carolina plates.
