On Wednesday, March 22, The Pearl River County Narcotics Unit encountered William Young on Blueberry Rd. Off Silver Run Rd. In Poplarville.
Young was asleep inside his vehicle parked on Hunting Club Road.
Investigators knew that Young had warrants for Stone County. They tapped on the window to wake Young and arrested him.
Young was subsequently found to be in possession of a distribution amount of methamphetamine and a large homemade Bouie knife.
The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department said that he is a convicted felon and can’t possess such knives.
Young was transported to the Pearl River County Jail where he was booked for possession with intent to distribute of methamphetamine and possession of a weapon by felon.
