On Tuesday, February 28, the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Patrol Division assisted the Mississippi Department of Corrections in conducting a residence check at the home of Johnny Davis.
Davis is on parole and is subject to random home inspections.
During the check, Davis and his girlfriend, Carolee Smith were found inside the residence, and both were found in possession of illegal narcotics.
Davis and Smith were subsequently arrested for narcotics violations.
61-year-old Johnny Davis was charged with Possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and possession of a weapon by a felon.
53-year-old Carolee Smith was charged with Possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
