On August 5, the Richton Police Department responded to an alarm call at a business called Two Rivers inside the city limits of Richton.
They discovered that the business was burglarized and one handgun was stolen.
A Perry County Investigator was called to the scene to help with the investigation.
After viewing the video surveillance, officers identified one of the two individuals involved. Since he is a juvenile, his name cannot be released.
On August 7, Perry County, Hattiesburg Police Department, and ATF (Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms) arrested a 16 y.o.a. black male juvenile in the Hattiesburg area. He was charged with Commercial Burglary in connection to the incident.
