A 17year-old accused in the fatal shooting of a Jackson security guard has been denied bond.
Trent Wooten was denied bond in his preliminary hearing earlier this week after police said he and two other teens attacked 60-year-old Roy Love and shot him.
Love had asked the boys to leave the premises when they allegedly fatally shot him, police said.
Chief Joseph Wade told reporters that the teens apparently shot Love in order to take his firearm. Surveillance tapes reportedly showed the three escaping, two on foot and one on a bicycle.
In addition to Wooten, Zaylon Norton, 17, and Kadaris Cohen, 16, are accused in the fatal shooting.
