NESHOBA COUNTY — Emergency crews responded Sunday evening to a fire at Cabin 268 on the Sunset Strip at the Neshoba County Fairgrounds, according to emergency dispatch reports.
The call was received at approximately 7:01 p.m., prompting a multi-department response to the popular fairgrounds location.
As of Sunday evening, officials reported that only one cabin was involved in the fire. Firefighters and emergency personnel remained on the scene working to contain the blaze and assess the situation.
Departments responding to the incident include the Hope, Dixon, Fairview and Philadelphia fire departments.
No information regarding injuries or the cause of the fire was immediately available. Authorities have not released details on the extent of the damage.
