The Philadelphia Police Department has charged four juveniles in connection with a burglary at Philadelphia Tobacco and Vape last Tuesday.
The suspects, three 15-year-old males and one 14-year-old female, are also linked to two previous attempted break-ins at the same location within the past three months.
During the earlier incidents, the front glass door and windows were broken, but no entry was gained. In the recent burglary, the juveniles caused approximately $9,000 in damages and stole over $3,000 worth of merchandise from the store.
All four juveniles face charges of Burglary of a Business and two counts of Attempted Breaking and Entering. The case will be processed through Youth Court due to the ages of the suspects.
Authorities continue to work with the business to address the damages and have emphasized the importance of community vigilance in preventing further incidents.
